Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Multivest Engine Inc collects when you use MultiVest Engine, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it. It covers the marketing site and the underwriting platform.

1. What we collect

Information you give us

• Account details. Name and email address when you register.
• Deal data. Purchase price, unit count, rents, expenses, and loan terms you type into the calculator or the full underwriting flow.
• Uploaded documents. Offering memorandums, rent rolls, and operating statements you choose to upload for parsing.
• Billing details. Handled by our payment processor. We receive confirmation of the transaction and the plan, and we never see or store your full card number.
• Messages. Anything you send us by email or through a support form.

Information collected automatically

• Usage analytics. Pages viewed, referring source, approximate location, browser and device type, collected through Google Analytics 4.
• Technical logs. IP address, timestamps, and error traces, used for security and debugging.

2. Why we use it

• To run the service: parse your documents, calculate metrics, score deals, and generate reports and letters of intent.
• To maintain your account, process payment, and provide support.
• To keep the platform secure and to investigate abuse.
• To understand which parts of the product and the blog are useful, in aggregate.
• To send service messages. Marketing email only goes out if you opt in, and every marketing email carries an unsubscribe link.

3. What we do not do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your uploaded deal documents with other users, with brokers, or with any third party for their own marketing. Your deal data is yours.

4. Who we share it with

We share data only with service providers who help us run the platform, and only to the extent they need it. That includes hosting and delivery, the payment processor, analytics, email delivery, and the AI providers whose models parse documents and generate analysis. Each is bound by contract to protect the data and to use it only to provide their service to us.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our users, or the security of the platform. If the business is acquired, data may transfer as part of that transaction, and we will give notice before your information becomes subject to a different policy.

5. How long we keep it

• Account data. For as long as your account is open.
• Deal data and uploads. Until you delete them, or for a reasonable period after you close your account.
• Billing records. For as long as tax and accounting law requires.
• Technical logs. For a limited period, kept only as long as needed for security and debugging.

6. Security

Traffic is encrypted in transit with TLS. We apply industry-standard safeguards to stored data, and access is limited to the people who need it to operate and support the service. No system is perfectly secure, so keep your password strong and unique, and tell us immediately if you suspect a problem with your account.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or export it in a portable format. You can also object to processing based on our legitimate interests, and withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing.

Make a request by writing to karin@multivestengine.com. We respond within 30 days. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.

8. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure traffic through Google Analytics 4. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will stop parts of the platform from working.

9. International transfers

We operate from the United States and our providers may process data there. If you use the service from outside the United States, you understand your information is transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different data protection rules than your own country.

10. Children

MultiVest Engine is a business tool and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top always reflects the current version, and we give notice by email or inside the product before a material change takes effect.
